Even the Associated Press has noticed that there are more women in sf these days. It's a kind of goofy article (I'm particularly bemused by the line "More women around to impress meant better clothing. Bizarre costumes, once staples of the convention scene, are out"—did this reporter attend the same WorldCon I attended?), but it's something.
