One last thing and then I really will go to bed: someone just pointed me to the TouchGraph GoogleBrowser, which provides a cool Java-based visual display of Google's similar-pages links. If you have Java enabled in your browser, go to that page and type in a URL. The links shown aren't actual HTML links; they're connections made by Google. The information provided corresponds exactly to what you get if you click a "similar pages" link in Google, but the visual display is cooler and lets you see second-order connections 'n' stuff. Fascinating.
