Have been fighting a cold all week. Was feeling fairly good last night, but this morning, I think it won. It didn't help that at 6:30 the damn loud-vehicle guy revved his car engine outside my window loudly enough that it woke me up despite my earplugs. Apartment managers have said a couple of times that they'd issue the guy a don't-park-here-or-we'll-tow-you notice, but they haven't yet done so, perhaps because the car isn't here during the day to receive such a notice. I need to make this stop; maybe I'll go park in that space myself to prevent loud-vehicle guy from doing so.
Staying home from work today. Agenda includes vitamin C, liquids, rest (sleep if I can manage it), reading, maybe a little work-from-home.

Perhaps leaving a note attached to the windshield/handlebars of the offending vehicle late at night, reminding them of the various policies and explaining that you've contacted the landlord would help?
Or jotting down vehicle make/model/license and passing that along to the management?

Yup, I've done both of those things. Well, okay, so the note simply explained that the car was loud and waking me up and asked him to park elsewhere, but I taped it to his driver's-side door handle so he couldn't miss it.
Btw, have now had three back-to-back 1-hour naps, and feel a little better.
