Six out of the last eight stories submitted to us have had one-word titles. And five of those titles have been five letters long or shorter. Odd. Especially since a quick glance over the past week's subs suggests that usually only about a sixth of incoming submissions have one-word titles.

I would suspect another prank a la the Great Zombie Unicorn Flood of '03, except that I don't think some of the submitters are OWW folks. Probably just a coincidence.

If you list them in the order they were submitted, they don't spell out the meaning of life, the universe, and everything, do they?

Because if they did, that would be weird.

It's your own fault, now that everyone knows the one word titles work well when you're sticking them together.
