Go me!
16 September 2003, 12:37 AM
I confess to feeling a little smug at the moment, having just written a 5000-word story in a little over four hours, including a couple of breaks, and immediately submitted it to its intended market. (Three guesses, and the first two don't count.)
I've been thinking about this story for weeks, though, and have had various aspects of it in mind for years, so it's not really fair to say that it only took four hours.
And, of course, who knows whether it's any good or not. We'll see.

I think you're entitled to be a smuggle-bunny. Good work, sir.

Awesome, Jed! But be careful, you're almost at Jay Lake speeds there!

Jed rules, of course, but this is Jed ruling in yet another way.

Wow, that really is ludicrous speed (Spaceballs reference there, just in case...).
Jed, you sound like a binge writer! Join the club--I think Heather's one, too.

Go Jed! That's awesome! And, yes, I think that qualifies you for our little binge writer club :-)
