More excellent optical illusions from a Japanese site that appears to specialize in them, along the same lines as an illusion-of-motion image I pointed to a couple months ago. (Thanks, Aaron!)

This is an entirely new class of optical illusion to me. I wonder what it is about our visual cortex that makes them work? Do they work when printed out?
