Weddings and other activities

I've decided not to go up to Tacoma for Monday's hearing. I'll probably write more about that next week. For now, I'm staying home with comfort food and magazine submissions.

Except for the part where I attend Tim & Heather's wedding this afternoon, of course.

If I were up for doing anything else this weekend, I might be interested in going to the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. Lots of great people. Today: Del McCoury, Doc Watson, Earl Scruggs, Joan Baez, Robert Earl Keen, Laurie Lewis & Tom Rozum, Gillian Welch, et al. Tomorrow: Hazel Dickens, Ricky Skaggs, Ralph Stanley, Emmylou Harris, Rosanne Cash, the Austin Lounge Lizards, Dolly Parton, and more. All free, no tickets needed, in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Another weekend, I might've enjoyed that. But I think this weekend I'm gonna stay home.

*hugs* I hope you had a good weekend! Thanks for making the transition to your new journal so easy from an outside perspective. I didn't have to update my RSS feed or anything. And I like the new sign-in feature.
