Beagle tonight in SF

Peter S. Beagle will be reading tonight in San Francisco, at the Make-Out Room, as part of Charlie Anders's "Writers with Drinks" series. Starts at 7:30; doors open at 7.

Sorry for the very late notice, but I figured it couldn't hurt to mention it just in case.

Not sure whether I'll be there. The few times I've been to Writers with Drinks, it's been fun, and I would love to hear Beagle read--I think I've only ever encountered him once, in passing at a party some years back, when I was too tongue-tied to actually say anything. But my inertia recoils at the thought of getting up to San Francisco on a Saturday night.

I don't know anything about the other writers who'll be reading tonight, but Charlie tends to get good people.
