Many many congratulations to Dr. Susan Marie Groppi, who acquired her Ph.D. (complete with puffy hat and spiffy robes) yesterday morning.

Yay, Dr. Groppi!

I think from now on we're required to refer to her only as Dr. Groppi. Karen and I will have to call her that during editorial meetings, and we'll immediately reject all stories whose cover letters refer to her any other way.

Okay, maybe not. But I definitely recommend stopping by her journal and congratulating her if you haven't already done so.
