Happy birthday, Dr. Seuss!

On my way to bed, I checked my calendar for tomorrow/Friday, and discovered that it would've been Theodor Seuss Geisel's 103rd birthday.

I hope y'all will go read (and/or write) a children's book in his honor.

Rose's came home all excited from school because they made scrambled green eggs in honor of Dr. Seus's birthday, and she liked them! They are now one of her new foods, the scrambled part, not necessarily the green. All the kids brought in their favorite book as part of the celebration. At first Rose picked out Monuments of France. I worried that the other parents might find my child strange. But I didn't need to fear, her real favorite was Disney princesses. Sickly sweet and branded to boot. She did not stand out in any way.
