I sorta thought that submission volume was going down again, but I was wrong. April turned out to be our second-highest-volume month ever, with 358 submissions. Even if we didn't count the April Fool's mini-slushbomb, April would still have been higher-volume than the previous second-highest month, which was January of 2005.
