Happy Barzak Day!

Matthew Cheney has declared today to be Barzak Day, in honor of the release of Chris Barzak's first novel, One for Sorrow.

I don't have time to blog about Barzak right now, but I will say that he's mighty cool and I look forward to reading the book; and that y'all can get a taste of Barzak by reading some of his work in the Strange Horizons archives. Two excellent stories (one of which was, I think, the first story that we published that later appeared in a Year's Best), two reviews by him, and one interview of him and Yoshio Kobayashi.
