Words easily confused #18

I'm trying to post most of my word-related entries at Neology these days, so new entries in the Words easily confused series will live over there from now on. I've posted a new entry, or rather a new pair of entries: Words easily confused #18a and Words easily mistyped #18b.

I think it bears commenting both here and at Neology that everyone interested in such words easily confused should go watch the the impotence of proofreading at Youtube.
