Day One, 2008

Last year, submission volume went like this for the first four days of January: 33, 40, 35, 23.
Those first three days were the highest-volume days we've ever had. (Well, okay, the 33 tied with January 1, 2004.) 'Til today, of course.
On January 1, 2008, we got 45 subs.
The first week of 2007, we got 161; I'm guessing that the first week of 2008 will be up around 200 (even though it's only five days this year--we count weeks from Sunday to Saturday).
And I'm still predicting at least 600 for this month; possibly even 700.
We may be a little swamped for a while.
