Playmobil Security Check Point

Another great toy from Playmobil, to go along with the classic Playmobil Police Checkpoint: yes, it's the Playmobil Security Check Point. Your kids can now play make-believe games with uniformed TSA officers, an X-ray machine, and a metal detector!

The product has been available for years, but I only just encountered it. (Thanks, Bruce C!) The Amazon product page of course features some nice fake reviews; not quite like the ones I posted about a couple months ago, but somewhere in the same general neighborhood.

Also of note on that Amazon product page are the product keywords/tags, which include "police state", "orwellian", "cavity search", "sheeple", and so on.

Oh, and if you don't like Playmobil, here's another toy X-ray machine "that helps children become acclimated with airport and public spaces security." Parents, act now--it's your duty to get your children used to being scanned, observed, and searched!

I am most amused by the preponderance of L. Ron Hubbard in the "also bought" product links. I don't know what it means, but it's still amusing.
