Sturgeon winners!

I was walking to my car just now, in a kind of grumpy mood probably induced by low blood sugar, and thought I'd do a quick blog-check. And discovered that the winners of the Sturgeon Award have been announced.

This year, for the first time ever, there are two winners: David Moles's "Finisterra" and Elizabeth Bear's "Tideline."

And my impending bad mood instantly evaporated, and I walked the rest of the way to my car with a big grin, because those were my two favorite stories on the Hugo ballot (with apologies to those others of you who had stories on the ballot), and I'm really pleased to see them get this recognition.

Yay, Bear and David! Congratulations!
