My birthday is next Saturday, so I hereby declare today to be the beginning of my third annual birthday week.
I have no particular plans this year--in fact, I keep forgetting that my birthday is impending. But I'm sure plans will develop over the course of the week.

Best wishes on your birthday. My family has a few birthdays this months as well, including my mother's 86th birthday March 31. I was looking at your list of favorite children's books. I am a big fan of Alexander Key, E. Nesbit, the Three Investigators (Alfred Hitchcock), ...and a "few" others. My home is besieged by books.
