Most dramatic browser speed tests ever

The Google Chrome developers have come out with a new version of the browser that's faster than ever before. To illustrate the browser's speed, they've published a video of some rather unusual speed tests, comparing the browser's page-display speed (in realtime) with the speed of a potato gun, sound waves, and lightning:

There's also a nifty making-of video with more info, including (in the YouTube description area) some technical details about why the page displays the way it does.
