Today: SH reading in Portland, Tachyon party in SF

Two events starting in an hour and a half that I meant to post details about days ago:

In Portland, a reading in honor of SH's tenth anniversary. Case Study Coffee, 2 p.m. local time. Readers include Ken Brady, Tina Connolly, Brenda Cooper, Mary Robinette Kowal, Jennifer Linnaea, and Tamela Viglione.

In San Francisco, a party in honor of Tachyon Publications' fifteenth anniversary. Borderlands Books, 2 p.m. local time. Special guests include Peter S. Beagle, Michael Blumlein, James Patrick Kelly, John Kessel, and Madeleine Robbins. Plus the Tachyon staff and the Borderlands staff, of course. Also: awarding the (Emperor) Norton Awards (for achievement in Bay Area science fiction)!

I would totally be at both of these events if there were two of me and if I weren't a thousand miles away.
