It's amazing how quickly the Web accumulates dead links. My bookmarks list is once again up-to-date, but I'm sure it won't stay that way for long. (There are a few items left on the list that I couldn't connect to today, but that I'm leaving in place for the time being in case they were transient network failures.)
As usual, I've automatically excised all internal SGI URLs (thanks to the Win32 version of Perl). What's left is a few hundred operational links to pages on the Web that I find interesting, aesthetically pleasing, amusing, thought-provoking, terrifying, or otherwise worth seeing. Please note that I do not necessarily agree with the ideas expressed by any of those pages; some sites I'm amused by, some I'm disturbed by. I'll leave it to you to guess which is which.
Unfortunately, I still haven't replaced my short list of favorite links, formerly on this page. (I'm still hoping that if I wait long enough, "Beauty for Ashes" and the National Texture Administration pages will return to the Web.) I still hope to put up a new quirky-and-not-well-known-favorites list at some point; in the meantime, the full bookmarks list (and the knowledge that it's up to date) will have to tide you over.
