{"id":11073,"date":"2008-03-29T14:35:20","date_gmt":"2008-03-29T21:35:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kith.org\/journals\/jed\/2008\/03\/29\/11073.html"},"modified":"2008-03-29T14:35:20","modified_gmt":"2008-03-29T21:35:20","slug":"the-big-snit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/2008\/03\/29\/the-big-snit\/","title":{"rendered":"The Big Snit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Somehow I seem to have failed to link to Canadian animator Richard Condie's 1985 short film \"<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nfb.ca\/animation\/objanim\/en\/films\/film.php?id=15310\">The Big Snit<\/a>,\" one of my favorite animated shorts.<\/p>\n<p>It came to mind yesterday when Mary Anne was telling me about Scrabulous, because it features a couple of funny Scrabble bits.<\/p>\n<p>It's the source of such catch-phrases as \"Sawing for Teens\" and \"Stop shaking your eyes!\" and \"CARROST,\" none of which will be funny until you see the movie.<\/p>\n<p>Last time I showed it to someone, they didn't enjoy it as much as I did\/do, but I'm still recommending it anyway.
