Hets R sin?  Het as our son?  Hets arson?  Het saracen? He-Tsar's son?<\/p>\n<p>But then I got closer and saw that it actually said HE IS RSN.  Which makes more sense, but is less amusing.<\/p>\n<p>Given our fiction this week (\"<a href=\"http:\/\/www.strangehorizons.com\/index.pl?Contents=\/2003\/20030505\/book_of_things.shtml\">The Book of Things Which Must Not Be Remembered<\/a>\"), I momentarily thought of \"Ra-Is-Risen.\"  But presumably Ra is not the \"HE\" that the license-plate owner had in mind.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning on the way to work, I saw a license plate that said HETSRSN.
