Oddly, it's pretty much the only Waits music I like, but I like it a fair bit.  This morning, looking for something else entirely, I stumbled across a 1985 <cite>Village Voice<\/cite> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.donshewey.com\/music_articles\/tom_waits.html\">review<\/a> of the album; I wouldn't necessarily agree with the whole review, but I think it does give a sense of what the album is like.  For those with iTunes 4, here's a link that might work: <a href=\"itms:\/\/phobos.apple.com\/WebObjects\/MZSearch.woa\/wa\/advancedSearchResults?albumTerm=Rain%20Dogs\">Rain Dogs<\/a> (but if you want the whole album, follow one of the links to it from that search-results page, 'cause you can get all 19 songs for $10).
