The publisher's blurb adds:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>And though she knows to stay out of the magical undercurrent that runs beneath Boston's historic streets, a midnight phone call from a long-vanished lover will destroy the careful boundaries she has drawn.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Thought some of y'all Bostonites might be interested. (And some of y'all fantasy readers too, of course.)<\/p>\n<p>I was also pleased to learn that HarperCollins has set up Browse Inside for the book; you can <a href=\"http:\/\/browseinside.harpercollins.com\/index.aspx?isbn13=9780061662416\">read the first 50+ pages for free online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>(This entry originally included HarperCollins's cute little Browse Inside widget, but as far as I can tell, all it actually does is link to their site, so I decided to keep things simple and just provide a plain text link.)<\/p>\n<p>If you want to know more about the background of the book, Scalzi hosted a <a href=\"http:\/\/whatever.scalzi.com\/2009\/02\/05\/the-big-idea-margaret-ronald\/\">Big Idea<\/a> posting last month in which Margaret talked about the book.
