Bush's blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It's not exactly what you'd call subtle.  But I have to admit that despite my usual lack of fondness for insulting humor (even when it's insulting people I don't like), I find some of this pretty entertaining.<\/p>\n<p>Also, it provides a link to a <cite>Slate<\/cite> article called \"<a href=\"http:\/\/slate.msn.com\/id\/2081213\/\">The Soft Bigotry of Loose Adulation<\/a>,\" talking about what it really means when a white guy (such as Bush) tells, um, less-white people (such as the entire Iraqi populace) that they're \"gifted\" (as Bush did).<\/p>\n<p>Also, the Bush blog provides a link to <a href=\"http:\/\/vpotus.blogspot.com\/\">Dick and Lynne Cheney's blog<\/a>, which is in even poorer taste.  The May 1 entry about Lynne Cheney's novel <cite>Sisters<\/cite> (which apparently is \"an Old West romance, replete with whorehouses, lesbian affairs and attempted rapes,\" according to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.langston.com\/Fun_People\/2000\/2000AUR.html\">Carey Goldberg article<\/a>) is particularly entertaining.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m sorry, I&#8217;ve lost track of who pointed me to this: George W.
