{"id":12395,"date":"2009-09-19T12:34:24","date_gmt":"2009-09-19T19:34:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kith.org\/journals\/jed\/2009\/09\/19\/12395.html"},"modified":"2009-09-19T12:34:24","modified_gmt":"2009-09-19T19:34:24","slug":"satellite-contemplating-observ","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/2009\/09\/19\/satellite-contemplating-observ\/","title":{"rendered":"Satellite contemplating observatory contemplating satellite"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I fairly often take photos of friends who are taking photos; sometimes they're even taking photos of me taking photos of them.<\/p>\n<p>But when you've got big pieces of equipment that are capable of taking photos, then they can take photos of each other without any evidence of humans being involved.<\/p>\n<p>Case in point: the GeoEye-1 satellite took a photo of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geoeye.com\/CorpSite\/gallery\/detail.aspx?iid=240&gid=1\">Arecibo Observatory<\/a>, which appears to be pointing back up at the satellite.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to T C for pointing out the nifty Flash gallery of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geoeye.com\/CorpSite\/gallery\/default.aspx\">satellite photos<\/a> where I found this.
