I have to give them a check for the deposit, 3% of the purchase price (which I believe will be the largest check I've ever written), by Monday; the following week, we'll have an inspector come and look over the place; there are lots of papers to sign, and homeowner's association documents to look at, and reports to read.  And the lenders have to approve my loan (which will be another 2-3 weeks), and we'll be having termite people come and use some new freeze-the-wall method of getting rid of termites.  And the court has to approve the sale (which may take 30-45 days), because the property is currently in foreclosure.  So we're looking at closing somewhere around the end of August.<\/p>\n<p>Exciting.  Also scary.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The sellers accepted my offer.
