{"id":15021,"date":"2015-01-30T09:47:30","date_gmt":"2015-01-30T17:47:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kith.org\/journals\/jed\/2015\/01\/30\/15021.html"},"modified":"2015-01-30T09:47:30","modified_gmt":"2015-01-30T17:47:30","slug":"useful-source-of-digital-asset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/2015\/01\/30\/useful-source-of-digital-asset\/","title":{"rendered":"Useful source of digital assets, including background music"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I recently encountered two videos that contained background music that I liked, and learned that both pieces of music were published on <a href=\"http:\/\/audiojungle.net\/\">AudioJungle<\/a>, the audio section of <a href=\"http:\/\/market.envato.com\/\">Envato Market<\/a>, which licenses all sorts of digital materials for use in creative projects.<\/p>\n<p>So, for example, if you're making a video, you can search AudioJungle, find a piece of background music you like, and pay the creator for the use of that music. Nifty!<\/p>\n<p>The two specific pieces I especially liked were the epic bagpipes of &ldquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/audiojungle.net\/item\/brave-scotland\/6777101\">Brave Scotland<\/a>,&rdquo; by onnecrezee, and the cheerful catchy a cappella &ldquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/audiojungle.net\/item\/easy-step\/2787222\">Easy Step<\/a>,&rdquo; by soundroll. I've downloaded both to listen to for my own use; there doesn't seem to be a way to buy tracks for personal use, but there are free full-length &ldquo;previews&rdquo; available for download. I don't currently have any need to license these for my own projects, but thought some of y'all might like them.<\/p>\n<p>Hee! I just finally figured out that the odd spoken phrase that recurs in both preview tracks is someone saying &ldquo;AudioJungle.&rdquo; A kind of audio watermarking.
