I meant to write something here about Kam that day, and then every day since then, but I keep getting sidetracked. Kam and I still don't have an anniversary per se, but I still have fond associations between her and May 1, because twenty-three years ago she invited me to join her and others for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kith.org\/journals\/jed\/2003\/05\/04\/1114.html\">Beltane at the beach<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That was only a couple of months after <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kith.org\/journals\/jed\/2009\/05\/02\/12070.html\">we first met<\/a>.
