The piece itself is informative and interesting, but even more so is the very extensive commentary\/discussion, which continues to the present day, largely between James D. Macdonald and an author of a low-carb dessert cookbook, with additional commentary by Teresa, Patrick, and others with extensive publishing-industry experience.
