And Paul Di Filippo's <a href=\"http:\/\/www.locusmag.com\/2001\/Features\/DecadPreview.html\">parodies of stories by those ten authors<\/a> (including himself).  And some lovely letters-to-Locus-Online <a href=\"http:\/\/www.locusmag.com\/2001\/Departments\/Letters12.html\">responses to the list<\/a> (and to the parodies), from such luminaries as Christopher Rowe, Jim Kelly, Rich Horton, Jeff VanderMeer, and Greg Egan.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I recently happened across Nick Gevers&#8217;s top ten sf short story authors list (from 2001).
