Senator Patrick Leahy, one of the few politicians who really gets the Internet, has stood up to voice his opposition to this development.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.liebertpub.com\/ebi\/ebiopaper1.pdf\">Academic paper about it<\/a> is online, as are <a href=\"http:\/\/dailynews.yahoo.com\/fc\/Science\/Cloning\">zillions of news stories<\/a>.  They really should've waited to announce this 'til the eve of the next <cite>Star Wars<\/cite> film's release.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zowie.
