C. Escher's <b><i>Lizards<\/i><\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>I am a bizarre juxtaposition of the real and the unreal. Based in the realm of mathematics, my two-dimensional appearance belies a complex and free-willed behaviour which both delights and confuses people.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Which is particularly funny because back in middle school, in a class called Humanities (which I later dubbed Dead White Males 101), we were assigned the task of choosing a work of art which best represented us; I chose Escher's \"Order and Chaos.\"  So now an independent source, all these years later, has confirmed that my essential nature is Escheresque.
