For example, I might schedule 2 pm to 3 pm each day as the time to work on my r\u00e9sum\u00e9, and I might want to set my computer up to automatically open the r\u00e9sum\u00e9 file at 2 pm to get me started.<\/p>\r\n<p>It turns out that on the Mac, you can set that up using Apple\u2019s Calendar app. Here\u2019s how:<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n  <li>In Calendar, create a new event or select an existing one.<\/li>\r\n  <li>In the event\u2019s <b>alert<\/b> section, select <b>Custom<\/b>.<\/li>\r\n  <li>In the resulting dialog box, in the first dropdown menu, select <b>Open file<\/b>.<\/li>\r\n  <li>In the second dropdown menu, select <b>Other<\/b>, and then choose a file.<\/li>\r\n  <li>Indicate when you want the file to open, relative to the time of the event.<\/li>\r\n  <li>Click <b>OK<\/b>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p>At the specified time, the file opens automatically.<\/p>\r\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[128,83],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-20125","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-anxiety","category-apple"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/20125","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/5"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=20125"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/20125\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":20126,"href":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/20125\/revisions\/20126"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=20125"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=20125"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=20125"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
