Milestone: I\u2019m now down to 100 unread trade paperbacks and hardcovers.<\/p>\r\n
I had reached 175 almost exactly a year ago, so I\u2019ve gone through only 75 of them in the past year (instead of the 100 or so that I managed in a couple of previous years), so I\u2019m now expecting to finish sometime in mid-2026 instead of late 2025.<\/p>\r\n
Still, I\u2019m making progress. I started the TPB\/HC phase of my unread-books project in October 2019 with 570 unread ones, and have added 50 since then. So I\u2019ve read or skimmed or skipped 520 of them in 5\u00bc years.<\/p>\r\n
(As always, I\u2019m skimming a lot of these, and giving up on some of them entirely after the first couple chapters.)<\/p>\r\n
I suppose I may as well embed the Google Sheets graph<\/a> showing my progress over time. The slope has stayed surprisingly steady over the years.<\/p>\r\n (The graph auto-updates over time, so if you\u2019re reading this post a while after it was published, the graph may show more progress than the text of this post describes.)<\/p>\r\n
