(This has never happened to me before last week.)  Took a lot longer to stop it tonight than last time.  Annoying.  I hope this doesn't continue all winter.<\/p>\n<p>Btw, the MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia article on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nlm.nih.gov\/medlineplus\/ency\/article\/003106.htm\">nosebleed<\/a> notes that, contrary to popular advice, when applying pressure to stop a nosebleed you should \"[l]ean forward to avoid swallowing the blood.\"<\/p>\n<p>There are various other things I was going to mention (movies, TV, the weekend in general, etc), but it's late and I need to go to sleep.
