It's very heavy-handedly political, to the point that I probably wouldn't be linking to it were it not for the stylistic similarities to a certain series of educational cartoons: think <cite>Schoolhouse Rock<\/cite> as written by Noam Chomsky.  (Thanks, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/users\/metasilk\/\">metasilk<\/a>!)<\/li>\n<li>\"<a href=\"http:\/\/www.observer.com\/pages\/story.asp?ID=9592\">Apocalypse, Nu?<\/a>\" in the <cite>New York Observer<\/cite> discusses Tim <cite>(Left Behind)<\/cite> LaHaye's recent book deal with Bantam Dell, and more specifically with Bantam Dell president Irwyn Applebaum, who (says the article) happens to be Jewish.<\/li>\n<li>Kam points to <cite><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lipmagazine.org\/\">LiP Magazine<\/a>,<\/cite> which Lisa Jervis, the editor of <cite>Bitch Magazine,<\/cite> describes as \"the best lefty political magazine you've never heard of.\"  And indeed I had never heard of it, but I rather like its article \"<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lipmagazine.org\/articles\/featjervis_girlongirl.htm\">Hot Girl-on-Girl Action: The Peculiar Problem of Politics, Pornography, &amp; the Ass-Kicking Babe<\/a>,\" by none other than the aforementioned Lisa Jervis.
