But the good parts included good performances, good food, and good company; especially nice to get some time with Karen &amp; P&auml;r &amp; Jeremiah, and <a href=\"http:\/\/snurri.blogspot.com\/\">Dave&nbsp;S<\/a>.  Also got to see M&amp;K's fabulous new condo, and to finally meet some of M's oldest friends, whom I've been hearing about for years; cool folks.  And amid those good things, I think the high point of the weekend may've been watching Dave and four-and-a-half-year-old Jeremiah playing.  (And, later, collaborating on a nigh-endless story, as Jeremiah created episode after episode in the life of a particularly adventurous baby, accompanied by illustrations he drew in Dave's moleskin notebook.)<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The other parts of the weekend were mixed.
