It does several things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lets you search for people affected by Hurricane Katrina.  Enter a name, click the \"Search for People\" button, and it'll search through various publicly available databases of Katrina-affected people.  If you want to add yourself to such a database, one place where you can do so is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.katrinasafe.com\/\">KatrinaSafe.com<\/a> (not affiliated with Google).<\/li>\n<li>Provides links to organizations to donate to, and to other relevant resources.<\/li>\n<li>Lets you limit your web search to Katrina-related pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/help\/faq_katrina.html\">FAQ<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t normally post from work, but figured this was worth mentioning.
