This just in from the <cite><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/article.cgi?file=\/chronicle\/archive\/2002\/04\/18\/MN54150.DTL\">San Francisco Chronicle<\/a>:<\/cite><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>With the eruption of a national crisis in the Roman Catholic Church, the Archdiocese of San Francisco held a special primer for priests Wednesday on sexuality and child abuse.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Somehow I don't think that came out quite the way the paper intended it to.<\/p>\n<p>In other news:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>San Francisco District Attorney Terence Hallinan notes that smoking marijuana is part of religious experience and should not be prosecuted.<\/li>\n<li>Ebay and PayPal both turn a profit (PayPal for the first time).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/article.cgi?file=\/chronicle\/archive\/2002\/04\/18\/DD49153.DTL\">Jon Carroll<\/a> deconstructs, as he puts it, \"Peggy Rathmann's revolutionary inquiry into gender, class and morality, 'Good Night, Gorilla.'\"  Who knew that a picture book could be so transgressive?
