{"id":4008,"date":"2007-08-28T09:36:14","date_gmt":"2007-08-28T16:36:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kith.org\/journals\/jed\/2007\/08\/28\/4008.html"},"modified":"2007-08-28T09:36:14","modified_gmt":"2007-08-28T16:36:14","slug":"happy-barzak-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/2007\/08\/28\/happy-barzak-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Barzak Day!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Matthew Cheney has declared today to be <a href=\"http:\/\/mumpsimus.blogspot.com\/2007\/08\/tomorrow-is-barzak-day.html\">Barzak Day<\/a>, in honor of the release of Chris Barzak's first novel, <cite><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0553384368\">One for Sorrow<\/a><\/cite>.<\/p>\n<p>I don't have time to blog about Barzak right now, but I will say that he's mighty cool and I look forward to reading the book; and that y'all can get a taste of Barzak by reading some of his work in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.strangehorizons.com\/Archive.alt.pl?Dept=all&Stng=Barzak&Sort=chron&Catx=\"><cite>Strange Horizons<\/cite> archives<\/a>.
