In fact, for some of them today is their first Father's Day as a father.  So happy Father's Day, in no particular order, to Ed, David, Paul M, Paul W, Jean, Steve, P&auml;r, Tad, Stewart, Castor, Geoff, Brian, Rick, Elyon, and probably others I'm not thinking of.  (I suppose the brevity of that list makes it clear that I don't have kids myself; if I did, I'm sure I would know too many parents to mention.)  Oh, yes, and also to my own father.  I'll have to try to remember to call him today.<\/p>\n<p>Today is also Bloomsday.  No, not <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomsday.org\/\">Lilac Bloomsday<\/a>; rather, the day on which <a href=\"http:\/\/pathfinder.com\/photo\/week\/0616.htm\">James Joyce<\/a>'s <cite>Ulysses<\/cite> is set.
