{"id":740,"date":"2002-12-04T01:26:16","date_gmt":"2002-12-04T09:26:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kith.org\/journals\/jed\/2002\/12\/04\/740.html"},"modified":"2002-12-04T01:26:16","modified_gmt":"2002-12-04T09:26:16","slug":"brain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/jed\/2002\/12\/04\/brain\/","title":{"rendered":"Brain"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I somehow managed to work myself into a Mood this evening, and it's lingering a little even after I stopped Reading Submissions and went and Listened To Soothing Music for a bit, so I'm going to Give Up And Go To Bed.<\/p>\n<p>But first, a bit from <cite>The House at Pooh Corner,<\/cite> which may explain after all why Beth and Arthur decided that Rabbit was the right Milne character for me:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\"Rabbit's clever,\" said Pooh thoughtfully.<\/p>\n<p>\"Yes,\" said Piglet, \"Rabbit's clever.\"<\/p>\n<p>\"And he has Brain.\"<\/p>\n<p>\"Yes,\" said Piglet, \"Rabbit has Brain.\"<\/p>\n<p>There was a long silence.<\/p>\n<p>\"I suppose,\" said Pooh, \"that that's why he never understands anything.\"<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Heh.
