But it looks like, as with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/pmjj\/1971\/08\/03\/1971-august-3-postcard-from-jed-to-gh\/\">previous card \u201cfrom\u201d me<\/a>, Laurel wrote this one.<\/p>\r\n<p>Unlike the earlier card, this one appears to be signed by me, in wavery large capitals with a lot of extra lines that I\u2019m guessing indicate I was having trouble controlling the pen.<\/p>\r\n<figure id=\"attachment_658\" class=\"thumbnail wp-caption alignright\" style=\"width: 310px\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.kith.org\/pmjj\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/1972\/01\/Childrens-Fairyland-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"Children\u2019s Fairyland\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-658\" \/><figcaption class=\"caption wp-caption-text\">Children\u2019s Fairyland<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n<p>One more mysterious thing about this card: There\u2019s an official-looking ink-stamped statement across the postage stamp, in all-caps, that appears to say \u201cALIENS MUST POP THEIR ADDRESS\u201d. Or maybe \u201cALIENS MUST REPORT THEIR ADDRESSES\u201d? Either way, I\u2019m not sure why USPS was using a difficult-to-read stamp-canceling system to get a message to aliens. (I assume this obnoxious message was intended for humans who weren\u2019t US citizens, but I figure it might have applied to extraterrestrials as well.)<\/p>\r\n<p>Printed text of the card: \u201cMother Goose, Children\u2019s Fairyland \u2022 Oakland \u2022 Calif\u201d. And: \u201cChildren\u2019s Fairyland, a feature of the Oakland Park Department, is the dream of every child come true. Located among beautiful oaks in a lovely glade at Lakeside Park in the center of the city, it is a fantasy of design, color, animation and music to delight the child and adult alike.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p>Also: \u201cMirro-Krome \u00ae card by H.S.
