You know how hard it is to know what people know? I expect to be talking to some people about the Abraham and Isaac story, and I don&amp;#8217t know how much people know about it. I know that asking Gentle Readers is not getting a scientific response, but I would like to know. So. Please send me an email (if you don&amp;#8217t know, my email is my <I>nom de blog<\/I> at the domain dot-org in this URL, or if you are reading this through some aggregator or feed, that domain is kith, as in kin.<br \/>\n<p>Here&amp;#8217s what I want. Just send me a note with one of the following:<br \/>\n<blockquote><strong>A:<\/strong> I don't know anything at all about any Abraham and Isaac story.<br \/>\n<br><strong>B:<\/strong> I&amp;#8217m sure I was told the story when I was a kid, but I don&amp;#8217t remember anything much.<br \/>\n<br><strong>C:<\/strong> I know at least the basic outlines, but I&amp;#8217m not sure about the details.<br \/>\n<br><strong>D:<\/strong> I know the story from Scripture and from religious school, and I remember it pretty well.<br \/>\n<br><strong>E:<\/strong> I have studied the story closely.<\/blockquote><br \/>\n<p>If you are willing to answer a few more shortish questions about your knowledge of the story, let me know. I&amp;#8217m looking for immediate and basic knowledge, by the way, so please don&amp;#8217t look the story up or ask your friends or anything like that. If you don&amp;#8217t know the story, fine. That&amp;#8217s good information for me. If you do, fine, that&amp;#8217s good information, too. Oh, and on those lines, please don&amp;#8217t comment with any details about the story, either.<br \/>\n<p>Thanks to those Gentle Readers who help me out, here.
