I mean, what use did Higgins have for kimonos? I wondered if they had been gifts from some diplomat that Higgins had taught English pronunciation, but then why would you give a bachelor a kimono? Not a very diplomatic gift. It seemed likelier that the gift had been a geisha, <i>wearing<\/i> a kimono, and that Mrs. Pearce had done her in.<br \/>\n<p>Also, the scores of American millionaresses? Dead.<br \/>\n<p>Pickering? Once they get him to sign power of attorney over to them, he&#8217;ll be next for the chop.<br \/>\n<p>We were thinking that instead of the second act being all about the tedious human relationships of person to person (and class to class) that Shaw was on about, wouldn&#8217;t a madcap thriller be more fun? Doesn&#8217;t Freddy really need an axe? We&#8217;re thinking two parts <i>Arsenic and Old Lace<\/i>, one part <i>Sweeney Todd<\/I>, two parts <i>Little Shop of Horrors<\/I> with just a dash of <I>Deathtrap<\/i>.
