It was all right, and it picked up quite nicely after dragging about a third of the way through. It lacked the specificity of the first book, the sense of <I>place<\/i> that was one of the best things about it. It also seemed more interested in the rules of savvy (who gets a savvy and why and when and how and all of that) than Your Humble Reader is.\n<P>On the other hand, having enjoyed <I>Savvy<\/i>, I was patient and had faith in the book, and it paid off. Which is a Good Thing, and means that I will start her next book, whatever it winds up being, with more patience and faith.
