As some of my Gentle Readers will recall, I was ambivalent about the war for quite a while, but ever since we invaded, I have felt, and felt strongly, that America was now responsible for rebuilding Iraq. $87 billion is not even close; I haven&#8217;t had time to look at the accounts in detail, but I did see that it only would pay for water to three-quarters of the urban population. We must build a paradise in Iraq, not only because it&#8217;s the Right Thing to Do, but if we want to regain the respect and admiration of the world.
