He also called his shirt a shoit.<\/blockquote>\n<p>Your Humble Blogger mentioned <I><a href=\"http:\/\/www.randomhouse.com\/catalog\/display.pperl?0679722610\">Red Harvest<\/a><\/I> (New York: Vintage 1989) recently. This may well be my favorite novel; mentioning it made me think about it, and thinking about it made me want to read it again, and I did, and so here it is.\n<p>If any Gentle Reader is absurdly wealthy and making lists of things to buy for random unworthies, a full set of the <I>Black Mask<\/I> originals (November 1927, December 1927, January 1928 and February 1928) would come in handy.
