And maybe I wasn’t? I’m not sure.

I think my Gracious Host set us up with our permanent email addresses in 1991 or 1992, but I don't think we paid an ISP, and I don't know how we would have got on the internet without one that year. I didn’t have access through my workplace; I had an actual job through part of 1993, but I’m pretty sure it only had a local network. It’s possible that we used a line and password from somebody? The next year, Fran went to grad school and we were able to collect email through the University phone line, and I’m pretty sure since that time I’ve never gone more than a week without getting onto the internet in some way.

I also can’t remember anything that I did in 1993 that would have definitely required internet access, such that I can tie my recollection of that particular year to being on the internet.

Mostly, I’m musing about how unreliable my memory is. I remember a lot about those post-college years, but evidently there are a lot of things I don’t remember, too, and I am sure that a bunch of stuff I do remember didn't actually happen the way I remember it happening.

Tolerabimus quod tolerare debemus,
-Vardibidian.

In Which Your Humble Blogger muses about the good old days, probably, I mean, they must have been, right?
